The goal of the study is to describe the application in terminology of the scale-free network model. There has been a wide range of research in the field of terminology in order to develop a new theory. The definition of basic concepts and the development of models that guarantee modern testing methods have become the centre of attention. The abstract models could play a significant role in the new theory to be developed. Research showed that the scale-free network model, developed in recent years and applied successfully in various fields, could also be used in the field of terminological researches with success.
